A Transportation/Logistics Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of inquiries related to shipping, freight management, and logistics services. This role involves:

  1. Communication Skills: Engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat to provide information about services, track shipments, and resolve issues.

  2. Problem Solving: Addressing customer concerns, processing claims, and managing exceptions in delivery schedules to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  3. Coordination: Collaborating with internal teams, including dispatch and operations, to effectively handle logistics processes and ensure timely delivery of goods.

  4. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and shipment details, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

  5. Proactive Assistance: Providing updates to customers on shipment statuses, potential delays, and logistics solutions that meet their needs.
